Techno-Vipers serve as Cobra’s combat support specialists, often deployed with experimental weaponry tailored for close-range engagements. Unlike standard infantry Vipers, they lack high mobility but compensate with increased durability and a tendency to take up well-defended positions near allies they assist.

 

A defining trait of Techno-Vipers is their arsenal of advanced gadgets. This is represented by special Inspiration Tokens, which provide bonuses to both their attack and defense rolls. The longer a Techno-Viper has to prepare and accumulate these tokens, the more dangerous they become.

 

As support units, they gain increased effectiveness when positioned alongside fellow Techno-Vipers or Cobra villains. However, their true strength shines when paired with Cobra’s B.A.T.s—the organization’s combat androids. As experts in robotics and battlefield engineering, Techno-Vipers provide B.A.T.s with enhanced movement, combat capabilities, and even repair functions. A squad of B.A.T.s backed by a Techno-Viper is a terrifying force, capable of relentless assaults and rapid self-repair, making them a high-priority target for the Joes.
